Joe Mietus has
worked in the Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center Bioengineering and
Arrhythmia Laboratory (former name of the Rey Laboratory) since 1985,
and has been involved in hardware and software development and
database management in this laboratory since 1976. Joe has developed
many useful computational algorithms for physiologic signal analysis,
including a sleep apnea detector based on Hilbert transform
technique and a cardiopulmonary coupling (CPC) technique for
sleep quality analysis.
