Roger G. Mark,
M.D., Ph.D., is the Distinguished Professor of Health Sciences &
Technology and Professor of Electrical Engineering at MIT. He is a
Co-PI of the Research Resource for Complex Physiologic
Signals. Dr. Mark served as the Co-Director of the Harvard-MIT Division
of Health Sciences & Technology from 1985 to 1996. In addition
to his other important contribution to health sciences, he has been
recognized as one of the pioneers for standardized physiologic
databases-- essential tools to advance monitoring algorithms and other
related technologies.
